Tampere Cathedral ((フィンランド語:Tampereen tuomiokirkko), (スウェーデン語:Tammerfors domkyrka)) is a Lutheran church in Tampere, Finland, and the seat of the Diocese of Tampere. The building was designed in the National Romantic style by Lars Sonck, and built between 1902 and 1907.〔(Tampere Cathedral | Evl.fi - Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland )〕 The cathedral is famous for its frescoes, painted by the symbolist Hugo Simberg between 1905 and 1906.〔(VisitFinland - Detail - The Official Travel and Tourism Portal of Finnish Tourist Board )〕 The paintings aroused considerable adverse criticism in their time,〔(The History, Art and Architecture of Tampere Cathedral )〕 featuring versions of Simberg's ''The Wounded Angel'' and ''The Garden of Death''. Of particular controversy was Simberg's painting of a winged serpent on a red background in the highest point of the ceiling, which some contemporaries interpreted as a symbol of sin and corruption. The altar-piece, representing the future resurrection of people of all races, was painted by Magnus Enckell. == Gallery == Image:Tampereen tuomiokirkko 1.JPG|Tampereen tuomiokirkko, External View Image:Tampereen tuomiokirkko 3.JPG|Hugo Simberg's fresco ''Köynnöksenkantajat'' Image:Kattofresko Tampereen tuomiokirkko.jpg|Serpent of Paradise, Main Vault Image:Tampereen tuomiokirkko 5.JPG Image:Tampereen tuomiokirkko 9.JPG|Organ Image:Tampereen tuomiokirkko 10.JPG|Magnus Enckell's Altar Fresco Angels ''Ylösnousemus'' Image:Kuoleman puutarha Tampereen tuomiokirkko.jpg|Hugo Simberg's fresco ''Kuoleman puutarha'' Image:Tampereen tuomiokirkko 8.JPG|Interior 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Tampere Cathedral」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
